The site is reporting that YOU have a spoofed IP? Did you do that yourself? Because if not, then I would run this scan immediately!

You don't have IE loaded? Is this a windows OS you're running? That's the most thorough scanner out there. It will find stuff others miss very often, including malware that aren't technically viruses.

Well, i ran the scanner, found a few minor threats, and i think i gottem(most anyway), but unfortunately still got a problem. I don't know how to "spoof" an I.P. so either, well i don't know.

Hmm, who's your ISP? have you contacted them? They're the ones who could best help with this.

Will do. Sprint(earthlink) is my ISP, so i guess i'll give that a try, though(we just switched to them) i've heard they're not to helpful.

I should also ask if you use a firewall, router, or a proxy. those could also give a "false" IP although they shouldn't prevent chat room use.

Well then the thing to do is to eliminate each one and find out which is causing the issue. I would bet it's the router but we'll try the FW 1st. Probably can't hurt much to disable it just long enough to connect to the chatroom. Then try direct connection without the router, but the FW enabled.

um...no, no proxy server. I have a dynamic I.P. that is assigned by Sprint, my uncle said that it was a internal network ip or something like that so the site may see it as not being a valid ip.
