Speed Up The Computer

Hi there,

I have a Compaq PIII PC with 256 Ram, 10 GB H.D.D. Recently I installed windwos 2000 on it.

My problem is that my computer is very slow at booting and even after booting when I click on any icon on the desktop it takes a long time to show up any program or shortcut on the desktop.

Any solution to my problem will be highly appreciated.

Regards
Fiza

These forums are focused around SOHO networking, thus the lack of response for this posting. What you have described probably has nothing to do with SOHO networking.
