which cord goes where?

moved my desk and now I cannot figure how to get the router pluged up? I can get online fine, but when I try to plug up router then I can't get online anymore. can someone help me?? Thanks.

Typically the WAN port is set aside to either the right or left (depending on the manufacturer and model) from the LAN ports (typically grouped in 4's). Your high speed connection (cable/DSL modem, etc.) will plug into the WAN port.

Most manufacturers include some sort of "Quick Start Guide" which illustrates this as well as document the setup within the included equipment manual.
