Share files between wired and wireless PC

I have a Linksys wireless B&G router, which my laptop connects to wirelessly, and my home pc is hard wired to the same router.
Both are sharing the internet fine, but I can't share files at all.

Both computers are running Windows XP. I am using a cable connection. My Linksys wireless router model is WRT54G.

Neither of the computers can see the other in the network, even though they are both set up the same using the Windows XP wizard.

I've never set up a network before so maybe if there is a tutorial you could link me to or something, or if you could give a step-by-step setup process?

Thanks in advance for any help!

There isn't too much to do to get it working.
With your router and PCs already working with the internet you are half way home.

Ensure your PCs are fully updated with XP updates, including SP2.
Put both PCs in the same workgoup, give them unique computer names, and make a network share on each PC.

    Thats all.

There is a guide here but note it is out of date since SP2.
