WRT54G Problem: Wireless Works Fine, Wired Port Connections Don't...
Having trouble with my WRT54g V.3

I have been using it over a year with no problem. All of a sudden my wired connections stop working. I've tried plugging my computer directly into the ports with no success. Tried reseting, rebooting, etc...

Strange part is that the wireless connection still works flawlessly. Any thoughts on why the direct connections do not work? I need them for a printer and a desktop computer without wireless...

My basic settings are as follows:
Time Warner R0oad Runner Cable
Router Name WRT54G
Local IP: 192.168.1.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
DHCP Server: Enabled
Starting IP: 192.168.1.100
Max # DHCP Users: 50
Everything else is full of zeros...

DDNS: Disabled
MAC Address Clone: Disabled

SEE ATTACHED SCREEN-SHOTS FOR MORE DETAILS

Any thoughts appreciated. I am moderately tech saavy but don't know too much about Networking stuff..

Have you tested with another ethernet device?

Are you able to confirm exactly how far you get with the wired devices? For example, with the desktop, do you even get an IP address assigned to it?

If not, if you assign a static IP address to the desktop, are you able to ping the gateway at 192.168.1.1?
