connecting 2 linksys routers (1 wire and 1 wireless)

I share an apartment and the main system is set up with a Linksys BEFSR41 wired in.

I have a Linksys WRT54G wireless and need info if I can connect to the owners BEFSR41 and how to do it.

There are multiple ways of accomplishing this, but typically none of the ways are officially supported by the manufacturers. Have you contacted Linksys at this point, since it is Linksys equipment throughout this situation? I think they have some on-line references on this.

Some other considerations:

- If you have separate mailing addresses in your housing arrangement, then what you are attempting may be against local laws
- Replacing the cabled NAT router with your wireless NAT router is the most "clean" and fully supported configuration by the manufacturers
