I'm new to the whole sharing thing and am trying to set up my mum's printer on the router. It is an HP Laserjet 2100TN if that helps anyone.
I want to connect the printer directly to the router via ethernet port. I read that if there is an ethernet port on the printer then it has a jetdirect card and so I don't need a print server. And it does have an ethernet port.
I don't have any drivers installed for the printer as I'm assuming that I won't need them doing it this way. Could anyone take me through how to set it up?
