Hi, I´m new at this "world". Beg your pardon for my bad english.
I have a Linksys WRT54g, everything works OK when wired, but when I need to add a laptop to the network, I configure it by using Windows XP wireless network config. wizard, give the laptop a name (two or three letters, no spaces, different from other existing names on the network) and provide the right SSID.
The machine navigates OK on internet, but when I try to "see" the other machines in the network, I got no access (a message appears: "you have no permission to access XXX network")
If I connect the laptop with a wire, it enters the network without problems and usually keep this situation even when I go back to wireless connection, but suddenly I lose access again.
The same happens with all other laptops (different brands) or when I put a wireless card on a regular PC.
Am I omitting some step configuring my machine to wireless access?
Thnx!
