I am using ADSL modem directly connected to one PC. I set DHCP server on my modem (192.168.X.1). DHCP range from 192.168.x.2 - 192.168.X.34.
I made two connections on the PC:
1. LAN connection from PC to modem
2. A dialing WAN Miniport (PPPOE), password require, for security reason.
I set "obtain an IP address automatically" on both connections, well...I didnt get any static IP from my ISP.
Since then, everytime I got connected, this message
Windows - System Error
"there is an IP address conflict with another system on the network"
always appear. It didnt bother my connections, but still it annoying
Can someone help me?

means? i did explain about my network...its simple...an ADSL modem directly connected to my PC, directly! i set my modem to DHCP Server mode. I made 2 connection from the PC, one is LAN connection between Modem and PC, and one is a PPPOE dialing connection like DialUp connection to my ADSL ISP.
And still the msg always appear.
Lately i did try to manually configure my LAN (192.168.1.2) from my PC to MODEM, and DHCP from my PPPOE dialer.

Not that simple... There are distinct differences between strictly DSL modems and combination DSL modem/router units. If you are unsure of what you have, may want to contact your ISP for clarification. Also, depending on your ISP's configurations of their "stock" devices, they may limit the functionality of the devices as to what can or can not be hooked up to their particular devices.
Typically, a DSL "modem only" unit is limited to one device connection, even if it has both an ethernet and USB hook-up. The combination DSL modem/router units will typically handle the PPPoE configurations on-board, with no need to run the dialer on the individual systems.
Bottom line, you are missing key information or have it mixed up, so what you have presented so far is not enough to correctly understand your configuration let alone troubleshoot anything.

at first, i made it simple. i turn on the modem, plug the phone line, i got connected. i set the Wan protocol to PPPoE (RFC 2516).
but lately, i changed it into EoA (RFC 1483 Bridged) for security reason. i have to dial and enter a password to get connected... am using TP Link TD 8800 ADSL modem.
i believe it is not my modem or ISP problem, it's my OS.
just wanna get rid of that annoying msgs... :)

You still have not provided any basic wiring/connection description as to how your systems and equipment are connected together in its current network configuration after three postings across this thread. At this time you probably need to contact your ISP directly for support as the situation you are incompletely describing may be due to how you are using the ISP services versus how your ISP has intended it to be used (may be different or conflicting).
