I have 2pcs and a laptop at a friends home that we are trying to setup.

I connect the laptop to the WRT54g via the wired network adapter and configure it following the steps in the guide.

i unplug the laptop and connect to the wireless router using the internet wireless nic.. and that works great..

but my problem now is the 2 wmp54g adapters i have in the other pcs. they both connect to the router.. but they dont see the internet.. nor do they see each other.. I have followed the steps in the installer.. and i get the same problem.. both machines are xp2 ..

and i have disabled firewall tools and so forth..
they cant even see each other nor the laptop.. and i cant even ping each other...

and note the laptop works well.. no issues what so ever..

I even use the windows wireless setup tool.. on the 2 pcs.. and i get the same problem.. they connect to the router.. but thats about it.. they don't see each other.. nor can they browse the web..

What am i doing wrong ?

ok..all machines are windowsxp sp2.

I am using WEP.. all firewalls have been disabled.

I can connect to the router... but i cant ping it nor any other of the machines nor can i browse the web.

Sometimes when i use DHCP settings on the router i get "limited or no connectivity".. and both machines have all the windows updates.

I have been to the Linksys site forums and alot of people have the same issue.. but no really solution to it...

and yes my ssid is broadcasting.

"ping" results and maybe an "ipconfig" would also help. Lastly, if everything is "new" the manufacturer typically also offers telephone support too.
