From a D-Link DI-624 router, I have one Vista PC (Norton Internet Security Suite) wired by ethernet, one network printer (ethernet), and 2 wireless XP PCs.

Recently, the wireless PCs have begun to do the following - first the networked printer, while visible and appearing to work on a Network Magic Network Map, becomes unreachable (can't be pinged or printed to). Subsequently, the internet can't be accessed. I can continue to ping the router, but can't go to it's web page (http://192.168.0.1). The wired PC continues to have full capabilities

I have cable modem with dynamic DHCP. Resetting modem/router did not help.

Similarly, disabling all firewalls on Vista PC did not help.

In past, I was able to temporarily solve problem by completely shutting down all devices, (including unplugging networked printer), then resetting modem/router then renaming/reinstalling wireless network (technique from http://www.dslreports.com/faq/dlink/53.0_..._Wireless_Access_Points_Routers). Unfortunately, fix only lasted about 1 week.

For what it's worth, I was not having this problem before I placed my Vista PC into service, although I'm not sure how that could/should effect the wireless connections.

Any thoughts?
