DLINK DSL-G604T WEP Problem

When I enable the Wep on this product, WLan Stops working the light on the router dosnt show and none of my pc's cant see it.
What am I doing wrong, I did everything the manual asks.

Firstly, I have had a number of problems with various DLink models so for starters I am just going to say I dont like them. Secondly, I respect the frustration caused from lights not working, but if I, or anyone else in the forum, is going to be of any help may i ask that you please tell me the sequence of lights on the router.

For example when the PC boots up what lights, light up and what lights stay lit. In other words, tell me what lights are on and off lol.

thanks for the reply btw,
with wep enabled, the lights power, status, adsl, and 1 an2 are on.
with wep off power staus adsl wlan 1+2 are all on.

Sorry for the delay of the reply.

By lights 1 and 2, I assume these are wired computers? If so, can you not see the wired computer connection when wep is switched on?

Furthermore, when the wep is switched off, can all of your computers connect to the network?

Lastly, could you give me a detailed walkthrough of how you set up your wireless encryption, and dont omit any details however minor you find them because to often the case me be that this is what is causing the problem, although, in DLinks case its more likely the router :P lol
