I have been working in this all morning and now i seem to be stuck. i am trying to set up a wrieless network for four conmputers. i am working on a mac laptop and the others are running windows xp. i am using a netgear modem/router. all the computers work when plugged directly into the router. when i reset the router and set the encryption off i can use the mac wirelessly to connect to the internet. however as soon as i put the encryption back on i can connect with excellent signal but no internet?? one of the laptops running windows xp i can connect to the router with excellent signal whether it is incrypted with wep or not but either way i can't get online, unless directly plugged in. it seems like the wep setting is the problem for the mac but the others are not working wirelessly even with that feature off. does anyone have any suggestions? thanks.
