home network help

I am not very network savy. I have a home network desk top comp being the base, two laptops via a wirless router through a cable modem. I want to add a new laptop and have gotten as far as adding its mac address to the router website but I do not know how to add that laptop to my network. all with the exception of new laptop are using XP, the new one has vista.

please help.
