my DI-524 wireless router can not connect with more than 2 PCs.

Hi there!

Thanks for help in advanced!

I have a DI-524 router, I configured with MAC filter and without WEA or WPA.
But it is strange when I try to use two PC with wireless connection, one of PCs will NOT work, meaning it can not access internet, though it could get a IP address after.

I have tried with

1. ipconfig release -> ipconfig renew
2. restart wireless adapter, reconnect it to the DI-524
3. restart DI-524

Sometime with the "3", it helps, both PCs can be connected.

But why?

Could someone know reason? Or it is DI-524 hardware bugs?

Any chance the routers built-in DHCP server is configured to only allow one DHCP client?

Are you broadcasting the network SSID? If not enable broadcast of the SSID. Not doing so can cause connectivity issues.

You also might try resetting the router back to its factory default condition then redoing your configuration including the WPA key. Its also possible a reflash of the router firmware with a newer version or the same version may clean up any corruption issues.
