Hi folks get ready to meet amateur of the year. I have lots of questions but i promise to ask one at a time.

I have just managed to connect my Belkin wireless router/modem (took me two days). I now have a wireless network which connects to the internet via my broadband connection and remains connected all the time. Before I got the router i had a modem from Tiscali and and that used to connect both the internet and my Outlook mail

The problem is I use Outlook for my mail and when I click on send and receive the old connection window comes up and asks me to connect, this obviously does not work has it is not connected. how do I get Outlook to use the connection coming through my router.

Hope you can help,

PS plenty more questions yet.

Cheers Frog

Outlook ? Or Outlook Express ?
Generally -On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
Select the e-mail account, and then click Change.
Click More Settings, and then click the Connection tab And set up the options you prefer.
Also try Outlook Help -> Connection. i.e. RTM.
