I’ve been trying to setup a small wireless network of 5 machines at home – heres what ive done
Access point address 192.168.0.50 (dlink DWL -2100Ap)
Do I need to add a default gateway to the access point on the dlink setup or on the clients?
The access point is directly connected to one of the machines will this be a problem ??
I’m I right by saying that the default gateway on the clients will be the address of the AP? The fact that the default gateway on the clients is not set --- is this the resone I can seem to be able to ping any of the machines, I can also see any machines under workgroup while I get a message saying your connected to network X…… (all the machines are on the same workgroup and ip range ) .Both the lights on the wireless network are blinking?
