I am trying to setup my home network and am not having much luck. When I attach my Linksys wrt54gs to my modem and configure all PCs...everything works fine.
But, when I have this typical setup, I can not do a VPN connection to a server at my office.
So, now I have my modem with a switch attached to it and the wireless router attached to the switch.

****************\(Port 1) to wan port on WRT54GS default settings----wireless signal----PC with wireless card - getting signal from router, but no internet access ?
I can hardwire a PC to the switch and get my VPN connection to work, but I can not get internet access from the wireless PC. I pick up the wireless signal and show to have a very strong signal on the wireless PC, but no internet access.
Under view network connections, I see that "wireless coneection" is enabled and all is well. I also see "internet connection", but it is not enabled. When I click enable, it says "connection failed".
Not sure what I am doing wrong with the wireless, but I have to have the switch in order for the VPN connection to work on the wired PC. I tried to search for help, but couldn't find anything concerning my setup and using VPN connections. Any help would greatly appreciated. Let me know if any more info is needed.
