I have just got a Dell GX150 to use as a way of getting music and video to one area of my house through my lan it does not have a cd-rom and no bay to mount one so I wondered if there is a way to install win xp through my network.There is no os currently installed just a clean hd

Your problem though is booting the PC so you have networking functionality. This may or may not help with that...
