ok, this is probably a stupid question, but i need an answer anyway. i was trying to transfer some files from my laptop to a desktop, both running windows xp, fully updated. to do this i was sharing the files from the laptop via a wireless network, then, on the desktop, copying them into a folder, planning to delete them from the laptop when the transfer completed. unfortunately, the laptop's battery died in mid-transfer and the the transfer was thus interrupted. this wouldn't be a problem, but the files were rather large and, although they did not finish transferring and there is no sign of them in the designated location on the desktop, they are still taking up memory there, so there is no room on the hard drive for me to start the transfer again. how can i find and remove the partial files so that i can restart the transfer? thanks
