The hotel I work at recently had a wireless router installed. The problem is is that the hotel is brick and the wireless signal fades out from some rooms. I want to add a second wireless router to the system, but i have to be carefull to keep it away from the offices network. There is only one network in the building but the tech has separated them by using static ip's and all that networking crap that i dont understand. So here is the setup: modem>16-port hub>wirelessrouter1
>wirelessrouter2 :both wireless routers havetheir own cable from the 16port hub

I cannot chain one wireless router from the other since i don't want to run new cable. Here is the information i have from the original router: not that i have any idea what it means:
Wan:
IP:192.168.1.253
SN: 255.255.255.0
GW: 192.168.1.254
????
66.231.99.253
66.231.101.253
LAN:
192.168.4.1 - im sure this is the oroginal routers ip address.

What do the ??? numbers represent ie. the 66.231 strings?
And what numbers do i enter into the second wireless router so that it is on the same network as the original?
And yes this is a totally unsecured wireless network.

If you cannot cable to the new wireless router how are you going to connect them ?
(Note - you do not need a new wireless router, just a wireless access point).

No No i cannot connect one router to the other. They are both connected to the same hub via 2 lan cables. And dont tell me about access points cause i am not buying any new hardware(i already have 2 routers).

Since this is in support of a business network, you might try http://www.enterpriseitplanet.com. They also have a forum too and it is geared at business networks.

On many routers you can make it work as an access point in the configuration page
