I have a wired/wireless network in my home. My desktop computer is connected directly into my router. Then my laptop connects with a wireless connection. The laptop and desktop can not ping each other. They also do not see each other as workgroup computers.
I tried a Network Setup Wizard Log on my laptop and recieved these errors...
Failed to install TCP/IP
Failed to install Client for Microsoft Networks
Failed to install File and Print Sharing
I then went under the Properties of my wireless internet connection to check for the errors. I found that all of the items were installed and had check marks beside them.
I ran the Network Setup Wizard Log on the desktop and it recieved no errors.
I am out of ideas...I appreciate any help anyone has to offer.
