I have a Belkin F5D7130UK Wireless Access Point. I can connect to the Internet with it through my router ok. However I cannot access the 'Web Based User Interface' to set the security level. The manual states the TCP/IP properties have to be changed to do this. Examples are given 192.168.2.200. Then access is obtained from IE explorer on 192.168.2.254. This does not work. I have tried the router address sequence 192.168.0.2 which does not work either. I have also tried through an ethernet cable laptop to access point.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards John.

Try...

1. Clearing the browser cache in IE or whatever browser your using...
2. Besides setting the IP of your PC to 192.168.2.200 with a netmask of 255.255.255.0 also add a gateway address of 192.168.2.254...
3. If all else fails reset the device to factory defaults. See page 6 of the manual that you can download from here...

Al, Thanks for reply. I also got help from Belkin and between you I have sorted it. I did read the manual and that was the problem. Breifly, I connected the laptop to the Access point with an Ethernet cable. Changed the LAN addresses not the wireless LAN. Used Firefox instead of IE as IE will not work. Used http://192.168.2.254 not just 192.168.2.254 as per the manual. So now am up and running.

Thanks again John.
