Need some help LAN Problems

1. I Keep geting this message "A network cable is unplugged" everything is plugged in but i lose conection for about 10 seconds then it reconects then d/c again after another 10 seconds and it constantly keeps doing it.

2.Works Wireless conecton when conected to a laptop but when pluged into PC 1 and PC 2 it gives the message and d/c etc.

3.It ramdomly seemed to work monday night for a few hours ..no problems and no message but then by the next day it went back to the way it was from the weekend as thats when it all started. as it was d/c etc saturday and sunday then by monday bk to normal... then next day it was d/c again message etc.

Don't understand the description of the problem.

Whatever, make sure you have the latest drivers for network cards. Also if XP you should be on SP2.

zerith, double-posting doesn't get answers any quicker. It just confuses things, if different approaches are explored. There are also "common courtesy" aspects for others using these forums. So what that means... Unproductive postings (cross-posting, double posting, thread hi-jacking, etc.) ultimately degrade the effectiveness of the forums as an information source for all others.
