wired router with wireless?

I have a wired network.......I want to add a notebook wireless... How?

Do I have to have a wireless router?

You have to get a wireless access point (WAP) and plug into a free port on your switch. If could be a router/WAP but not needed if you already have a router. If your notebook has 11 a/b/g/ then get a dual band WAP.
