slow-start

Can anyone help me with slow-start.

I am aware that slow-start can be disabled for a closed network but I am not sure how to do this, can anyone give me a step for a hint.

Either way, this subject is way beyond the basic SOHO networking discussions that takes place across these forums. "slow-start" is implemented across the applications, so it would be up to each application.

You are correct I did not see the link to which you refer, my apologies.

I have basically been pulling out my hair to try and get an answer to this question and bleary-eyed I chose your forum looking for someone who could assist.

Again apologies if I have offended anyone looking for respite from all things network and I'll take my headache elsewhere.

No offence, but it does seem like you are "shopping" for a specific answer - whether it is factual or not. Good luck, but this is a network application programming technique - not an actual network specification or setting that can be adjusted (unless it is included within an application).
