Hi -
I've been having this substantial problem for the last couple of days with no obvious solution. Any suggestions gratefully received:
My small network consists of an XP host and 2 W98 SE clients. The network works fine (all resources shared). My internet connection (ADSL with a USB modem) works fine on the host. But the clients can't access the internet via the host. They get as far as autoconnecting on the host pc (you can see the host connecting when the client requests a page). But then IE give a 'page not found' response, with a message about a DNS error at the bottom.
What should DNS settings be on host and client? Should I try changing them manually (all network settings are currently set automatically.)
Regards, STeve.
