Wireless laptop syncronize

I got two laptops, WinXp pro both.
There´s no switch, no hub.
I can see the share driver but I can´t access.

I made a test with other laptop (winXp pro) and can see the share driver and can access too. What can be different?

Assuming that you are connected with Crossover cable and the network is configured on both computers.

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed to be shared.
