My Belkin Settings so far:

Hi.

I have a 2mb internet connection with Blueyonder (UK) and I want to set up a network.

On the network I want to have one ethernet computer (this one), one wireless computer, an Xbox 360 connection and a NDS wi-fi running (not all at the same time, but they'd all run at one point or another).

At first the network worked well. However, the Belkin router seems to cut out randomly. The power goes blank, then the router reboots with an oranger power light, orange numbers, and my PC says it's running at 10 mbps.

It's a nuisence, as I would like to get the network running. I tried Belkin support, but I got a foreign call center with someone who was obviously didn't have a clue what they were talking about.

I also got the unit replaced, but the new unit does the same, which leads me to believe it's not the unit. I've tried running it on a different channel and I've tried to change settings in the Belkin Router's IP, but nothing seems to stop it cutting out.

It happens randomly. Sometimes when one computer is running, sometimes when more are running. Sometimes it cuts out after a minute and other times it takes up to ten minutes.

Help is appreciated. Thanks.

If the power is still "blanking" with the second unit, different power supply and all, then changing channels will probably not have any affect. Have you looked at your power source? There may be an off chance that the AC is noisy and can be cleaned up with a surge protector/filter combination unit. I just ran into a noisy AC situation recently.
