hi,

setup a tunnel between 2 draytek routers, using the correct settings on a standard 2mb line, however the access time is so sloooooooooooooow, sometimes it takes over 3 mins to open a simple word doc from another pc on another site, any ideas or hints and tips?

Cross-posting doesn't get answers any quicker. It just confuses things, if different approaches are explored.

There are also "common courtesy" aspects for others using these forums. So what that means... Unproductive postings (cross-posting, double posting, thread hi-jacking, etc.) ultimately degrade the effectiveness of the forums as an information source for all others.

VPNs are probably stretching the limits of the basic SOHO networking that is typically discussed across these forums. You might also try http://www.enterpriseitplanet.com, since what you are trying to accomplish is more typical of business networks. They also have a forum too and it is geared at business networks.
