Ok so we've got an LG ls50a Laptop (or notebook computer or whatever) and normally to activate wireless all we have to do is press FN+F6. This apparently opens up wireless mode. Well when we press that it says unable to get radio state. We're running windows xp and it's got a wireless card of somesort of it (search for it and you can find total specs). We have also 'set up' a home network to recieve an SSID and WEP key.
I'm asking if you know what it means and how to fix it
Thanks

It sounds that the card is not enabled, or not working.

I am also having the "Unable to get Radio State" problem - it is not due to the wireless card, as this is working fine both when enabled and disabled. I can change the mode from enabled to disabled through View Network Connections, but not through the hotkey by pressing Fn+F6.
I believe it has something to do with LG's "On Screen Display" and perhaps some sort of drivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
