Hello!.. *sigh*

I have no clue on how to do this - so please - anything will be of help!

The office I work in is a design agency, and currently we are using a windows xp machine, as a file server and internet connection sharing.

The office comprises of 9 PC's and 6 OSX Machines.

We are currently all connected to the XP machine on a 192.168.0.1 and upwards LAN IPS.

ANYWAY - what it is - our ISP is NTL (UK) and we are on the business 1.5mb - this only has a 20k upload or something rediculous lol - what it is the OSX design machines - need to upload files sometimes in excess of 14mb at a time - and sometimes 64 of theses for a magazine - .........

NTL cant upgrade us anymore as we are on the fastest they offer..
can we use ISDN and cable modems on the same network.......

The set up
XP Machine (two hard drives, one hard drive is the shared network drive)
This machine - shares internet around the office through a series of 6 hubs
Also have three network printers attached.
9pc's
6 macs

Help with what? You have already stated a limit with the ISP.

You might also try http://www.enterpriseitplanet.com since these forums are mostly geared at SOHO networks. They also have a forum too and it is geared at business networks.

You seemed to have missed the point of my post.

I simply asked if I could use ISDN and Cable modem within the same network?, and if not how would I do it.

It isnt an enterprise question...... its windows xp pro - with internet connection sharing...

The point here is that these forums are geared at SOHO networks and your configuration is beyond what typically gets discussed here, as evident by the lack of responses to your cross postings - which is very poor form. Cross-posting doesn't get answers any quicker even when it is a subject that is covered across these forums. It just confuses things, if different approaches are explored.

DakDarie, nice to see that you are enthusiastic about the forum, but please limit your posts to within the subject of the thread. Otherwise it quickly makes the thread confusing to follow for others.
