Hey guys!

I really need some help, I have spent 2 days searching for an answer, im sorry but here it goes, im not smart with computers at all i just wanna know how i can connect Another hub through my Linkskys BEFSR41 router so i can play my xbox live, I have my router full, only thing left is a spot that says "uplink", I have been told I need to get a new hub, or router so i can plug my cable in for my xbox live, im all out of holes.. Do I buy a hub or a router ? and if so.. what kind ? what cables do i need ? please help!

You should buy a switch.
You use ethernet patch cables.

The "uplink" and "LAN side number 1 port" are mutially exclusive: you can use one, or the other, but not both. (note that "useing" and "physically plugging in" are two totally different thing). It's something to do with the software inside (or the hardware inside the box).

You will need to get a new hub, and plug into it whatever is in the BEFSR41 "LAN port 1".

BTW An "Uplink" port is just like a regular port, except the cables on a couple of the pins are reversed.
