i wanted to know if it is possible to have a wired connection and a wireless connection for 2 desktops (they will be wired) and a laptop (wireless) that will allow me to share files and also share 3 printers between them. i have my network set up right now with no problems for all 3 to connect to the internet and both of the desktops share 2 printers (i might be adding another printer), but the problem that i am having is that if i try to share files or print from the laptop (running wirelessly) and one or both of the desktops then i am not able to. what i am wanting is to be able to connect wirelessly to the existing connection and also to be able to share printers and files while doing so.

any help would be appreciated. thank in advance!

sorry, also forgot to mention that i am running both a wired and wireless router (that also allows me to connect physically to it) but i am wanting to be able to go to another room and don't have physical access to the other routers.

thanks again!

If your Wireless connection actually work (i.e. it can be used for Internet surfing through the Router), then it probably has nothing to do with the Wireless but it is rather the classical Sharing problem.

May be this can Help, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
