Hello ALL,

I have wireless broadband router, connecting to 14 PC'S in a room. outside the room is a small corridor. and then there is a small office. in this small office at the end of the room, there is a desk and the wireless connector is on the table.

For some reason I GET INTERMITTENT CONNECTION TO THE BROADBAND from this small office. BROADBAND IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE, IN THE ROOM WHERE THE ROUTER IS. bUT NOT IN THE SMALL OFFICE. STRANGELY I GET CONNECTION IN THE SMALL OFFICE, LATE AFTERNOONS (4PM ) MOST OF THE TIME!!! OR ALMOST MOST OF THE TIME....

tHE ROUTER IS MADE BY ACTIONTEC eUROPE LTD. ANY HELP from any one
how I can get Broadband up always in the small office??

I would welcome any detailed steps to take to check connection etc....

Thanks Kindly,

Regards,
Raj

It sounds that the PC in the small office is at the end of the wireless range, and in addition you have wireless interference during most of the day, possibly from DECT phones in use.
You could try:
- move the desk closer to the corrider.
- change the channel in the router.
- Buy a high gain directional aeriel for the computer.
