wireless works, internet does not

I have a D-Link DI-524 router and a D-Link DWL-G122 USB wireless adapter, and Verizon DSL. Both desktop computers run Windows XP, the computer connected the router work fine and has internet, but the computer ( a new Sony VAIO) with wireless adapter has no internet. The wireless looks Ok, the wireless computer can log in the router, and the ping router IP address test fine too, even when use a wire to connect the router, there was still no internet. Any idea, please!

If you output some data from your laptop we can check:

Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command prompt
Enter
Ipconfig /all > file.txt

Copy the contents of file.txt here.
