I'm having a hard time!!, I've set up 3 wireless networks in 3 different locations..I've noticed that on older Hp laptos (with older integrated wireless
net cards) loose their configuration !!! With the newer ones No !
Dose sombody know why? & eventualy how to prevent this to happen !, Or if there is a good client to install on each laptop.....
Using the windows tool happens what I mentioned above!
Thanks in advace!

The wireless configuration is handled by XP. Ensure you have all XP updates especially SP2. Don't use the HP wireless utility.

Thanks for replying ! we ususally have all pc's updated automatically......
Actually all pc's 8220Hp work well with their utility, I have problems with the "older" models that do not have the hp utility and are handled by XP ......they loose the config.
Are you aware of a goooood wireless client utility that I could deploy on all my mobile clients ?
Bye

I suggest you persevere a little more with the windows wireless configuration under XP SP2 since it offers a common method of management independent of different vendor utilities. Ensure you have the latest wireless driver/firmware updates from HP. Also that you set the wireless network as preferred in the XP wireless settings.
I have heard that Boingo's utitlity works well and you might try that.
