Does free ZoneAlarm firewall, crash/drop connection still?

I had it on my computer about eight months ago. It was awful. It would drop the connection regularly and there was no reviving it without restarting the computer and or the router.

I was just wondering if it still does that. I do not know what version number of the free firewall that I had. The current version number looks oddly familiar though...

if you're behind a router, you only really need a good anti-virus, since all soho routers contain a hardware firewall.

If you need to have a software firewall, i recomend sybex firewall, freeware version.
