Networking win 2000 & XP

I have a small network I mainly use 2000, but have some systems with XP, I cannot get them to see each other, I can ping them and get a reply. I cannot see the XP on the 2000 , the XP see themselves. I don't have a domain name, I use the same workgroup name, I've change the group name on the XP. sill nothing. help if you can Thanks. Peter
