i am currently living in South America and only have access to high speed through adsl. I have a D-Link DSL-500. I would like to go wireless w/ my laptop and desktop. Can you use D-link wireless routers and pc cards with adsl? Never used adsl before. Can someone help me on this?

I think that the DSL-500 is a combo Modem Router.

If it is so you can get a Wireless Cable/DSL Router and use it as a switch with an Access Point.

Doing so will give few Ports for Wire as well as a capacity for many Wireless Computer.

I need to correct something. I have a DSL-500G. Sorry for the mix up. I am pretty sure it is just a adsl modem. What do I need to make my laptop and a desktop go wireless (with adsl)?

I don't think it matters what kind of connection you have, where routers are concerned. You just need to get the wireless router and some kind of CDMA aircard for the laptop, unless it's built in.
