I am in need of some network help here.
I am going to try to explain this as clearly as I can.
I am connected through a cable modem using a Linksys Wireless Router (BEFW11S4).
I am attempting to play Links 2003 golf through a network. I create a game at my home on my network. here are the 2 computers I am using:
Gary - 192.168.1.101
Carolyn - 192.168.1.102
Boh of these computers have a static IP address assigned to them.
We can both join the game fine. When I invite my friend to join in from an outside IP address, I can see him, but my wife can't. This is very odd because I opened up every port on the router to forward to both of our inside IP's, but, she can never see him. I am not sure if I am explaining this correctly. I hope this is making sense. I am the one hosting the game (192.168.1.101)
Is it not possible to have a LAN game going at the same time that someone with an outside IP address tries to join ? any help would be greatly appreciated. I am really going nuts trying to figure this out.
Regards
Gary
