Multiple Access Points

In a 500 Sqft building would having two wireless access points cause one another to drop data packets, or would I simply just need to make sure each were using a different channel. Each access point is connect to a different network because of privacy concerns.

Just set them at least 4 channels apart.

Make sure the SSIDs are also different too...

Thank you for the response, I set the channels appart as you said and both networks are working well. Sorry for the delayed response but I did not have the equipment setup at the time of my post.
