It seems like there is a security hole that lots of people are ignoring. When anyone has a wireless connection in an office and connects to another site owned by the same company (Or a cooperative company) they can bring up a VPN to protect any sensitive information. When a company has to surf the internet to locate information as part of their job and doesn't want the competitor next door to monitor the WiFi it's time to fire up VPN. Now we all know that WPA and WEP is crackable.

I'm looking for a any suggestions on how to setup VPN from a wireless PC to a router without having a remote end point.
I know it works with a SonicWall TZW ($400). I'm looking for a router that is less expensive.

Since this seems to be in support of a business network, you might try http://www.enterpriseitplanet.com. They also have a forum too and it is geared at business networks.

You might be able to do so with WinXPpro by setting one computer as a VPN server.

However the combo of Wireless and VPN in software might be very very slow.
