Wireless Internet Help

I have a D-Link DI-624 Wireless Router, a desktop running XP, and a laptop with XP that also has a wireless g card. The desktop is wired to the router and the laptop is not. I can share files fine. But I can only get internet on the desktop. I cannot get internet to work on the laptop when its wireless. If I plug in an ethernet cable to the laptop it works fine. But I need to be able to access the internet on the laptop with a wireless connection. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Use ipconfig /all at the cmd prompt to check the laptop has a gateway and dns address (usually 192.168.0.1 for Dlink).
