USRobotics Acces Point Dead after upgrade?

Hi everyone.
I have a USR842249 22 Mbps wireless AP. It worked well, so well I decided to make it work even better, and decided to upgrade it - USRobotics says after upgrading firmware and software it will run @ 54 Mbps.
So, I went to USR site, downloaded everything and, step by step - followed the instructions.
Very well.
Now my wifi network adapter (USR842210) simply can't find the access point so I can't even try to configure it.

I tried plugging the RJ45 cable of the AP and to reach it someway... nothing.

Any suggestion?

There are lights on the AP to show it has powered up and is working ?

A firmware upgrade failure would reduce the AP to a paper weight.

The "wireless activity" led blinks green and red - the silly manual doesn't say what't the meaning, but I guess nothing good...

But I coludn't see any single error message while upgrading.
And I followed the silly instructions found on USR website step by step.

Resetting the AP did nothing.

I'm disapponted.
