Hi All,
I have my Belkin ADSL Modem with Wireless G Router all set up and working on my desktop, I can access the network and go online with my wireless laptop.
The question is, how do I know or is there a program that will alert me if another user comes onto the network with another wirelss connection ?

Best wishes
Mark

Generally called 'intrusion detection'. Try a google search on the term.

Some examples of (free) detectors:
Snort:

Look at LAN - can scan your subnet at regular intervals and alarm if a new IP appears.

In addition to what Greenstead has pointed out, some routers will also track the wireless clients that are attached to it. The active DHCP table may can also be used too, for the models that display the information. These two options, when available on a unit, requires no additional software.
