LinkSys Wireless with BT Broadband

I have tried to set up the following home network so that my flatmates can access the internet with their 802.11b/g enabled laptops:

Bt Yahoo broadband ADSL line
BT Voyager 200 Modem
Linksys WAG54G wireless ADSL gateway

Dell Desktop (with wired connection to Linksys)

I've connected and configured as per instructions, plus have tried the various other configuration options but still no joy connecting to the internet with the wired desktop
I pretty sure its something really simple, but would really appreciate pointers from someone who has this type of setup up and running.

It should be quite simple.
Just set the wired NIC to automatic and plug it into the router.

If that doesn't work use the command prompt to get an output from Ipconfig /all and paste here for checking.
