Two Computers One Problem

I have two Computers, One is a Win98se the is Xp. The xp has an Ineqx Wireless Router, the other has a Ralink RT2500 Wireless Card.

The Problem is since I formated the Win98se comp I cannot get internet access through the wireless router.

The Configuration utility that comes with the Ralink shows that I am connected to the wireless network. I have put in the right ssid and the right wep hex numbers.

I do show the Ralink card and tcp/ip in the network properties through control panel.

I have as far as I know the control utility of the Ineqx Wireless Modem set up properly.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Network Forum.

Disable the WEP and try to reconfigure enable again the WEP only if you have a solid connection.
