ok so i already asked how to share between the laptop and desktop with the ethernet cord and the little adapter thing i bought but it seems too comlicated to get it to work that way so instead ill ask this....the desktop downstairs (which doesnt belong to me) has a router connected to it and i have a wireless card up here connected to my desktop...how can i go about sharing with the laptop that way without getting a card for the laptop...in other words can i plug an ehternet cord into the router and into the laptop and it will be able to communicate with my dekstop upstairs?....try to be as specific as possible and speak as though i understand nothing about computer.s....cuz i dont
