With this ADSL modem. I can configure it and successfully connect to the internet when directly connecting it to the PC by ethernet, but I want to connect it via a Kcorp KLG575 wireless router . When I do this, the modem loses its accessibility (i.e. not accessible via browser interface) and also can no longer be configured using the Sitecom ADSL Configuration tool - it says that there is "no response from the router" [i.e. modem], although, looking at the WAN status browser page for the Kcorp router, the correct IP address (192.168.1.254) of the modem is displayed.

I came across (somewhere!) what looked to be a similar problem configuring a router and separate modem (different manufacturer equipment), which diagnosed the problem as the modem remembering the MAC address of the PC from which it was originally directly configured (but gave no clue how it was solved).

I configured the KCorp internet connection as "Obtain IP automatically". The DC-213 is of course configured as PPoA.

PC is almost brand new, running Win XP Home SP2.

Any ideas?
